Little Two Theatre Company was set in in early 2023 by Essex-born theatre maker Alistair Ward. With a background in youth theatre and creative engagement, Alistair - or Ali, as he prefers to be known as - believes that theatre has the power to educate and unite, and is excited to contribute to the cultural life of his home county through exciting, contemporary theatre aimed at young audiences.

Little Two Theatre Company has partnered with Colchester Council and the Violence and Vulnerability Unit (VVU) to create ‘Choices’, a multi-disciplinary project for the city of Colchester that will educate on the impact of knife crime on the community, as well as providing primary intervention for vulnerable young people at risk of carrying knives or being involved with knife related crime. 

Where possible, Little Two Theatre strives to offer theatre and arts that is accessible to all and seeks to remove barriers, whether financial or otherwise, for it’s audiences.
